Floyd L. Boyer, 83, of Fortville, formerly resided in Lawrence, passed away March 22, 2010. He was born March 21, 1927. Floyd was employed at Rodenbush Veterans Administration Medical Center as a maintenance worker before retiring in 1999. Mr. Boyer was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Janice Sewell-Boyer, a brother Sam Boyer of Indianapolis, 2 step-children Connie Hunter and Timothy Sewell both of Indianapolis, 9 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 10-1pm with service at 1pm at Soldiers Memorial Chapel at Fort Harrison. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery to follow.

Jan, You know what Floyd meant to both of us we will miss him dearly, but he is in a better place, and no more suffering. We are thankful for the memories and good times we had with him. An please remember we are here for you any time that you may need us. Love You
